Everything you need to know about Video Translator — from first setup to troubleshooting.
Open Video Translate, upload a video file or paste a video URL, choose your target language, and click Translate and Watch. The app handles the rest on your Mac.
On first use, AI models download to your Mac for local processing. This usually takes 5–10 minutes depending on your connection. Later runs are much faster.
You need internet for the initial model download. After setup, dubbing local video files runs entirely on your machine with no cloud processing.
Common formats like MP4, MOV, MKV, and AVI are supported. You can also paste a public video URL if the video is accessible online.
Go to Audio Book, upload a short voice sample, paste your book text, pick a language, and click Create Audiobook. Processing stays entirely on your Mac.
No. Voice samples, transcripts, and generated audio stay on your Mac. All processing is local.
Open Activation in the sidebar and enter the key from your purchase email. Once validated, all features unlock on this device.
Restart the app, confirm the video file is not corrupted and any URL is publicly accessible, and wait if first-run setup is still downloading models. Use Help Center → Contact Us if the issue persists.
Install the Mac desktop app, activate your license, and start translating any video or creating audiobooks — all on your machine.
Requires macOS with Apple Silicon or Intel.
